About Judy

My roots in Williamson County run deep as a seventh-generation resident and the daughter of our long-time county historian, Louise Lynch, and former County Commissioner Clyde Lynch. I was raised with a front-row seat to public service; my father served as a fiscally conservative commissioner for over 37 years. He did more than just instill a strong work ethic in me; he also took the time to educate me on the intricacies of the county budget and the importance of sound policy, lessons that continue to guide my approach to leadership today.

Before focusing on agriculture, I spent 22 years as the Program Manager at Child Support Services for the 21st District. During my tenure, our office was consistently ranked as one of the top child support offices in Tennessee. This experience allowed me to hone my management abilities and demonstrated my commitment to running a highly efficient, results-oriented department that serves the public interest with fiscal responsibility.

Today, my daily life is rooted in the land as a farmer, where I raise beef cattle and grow hydroponic tomatoes. This transition back to the land has only strengthened my passion for our county’s heritage. Alongside my husband, Joey, and our three children—Nicki, Luke, and Houston—I have built a life centered on the same values of family, hard work, and stewardship that have sustained my family in this region for nearly 200 years.
